Detroit pitcher Clyde Olsen did his part in helping his team beat the Toronto Seagulls, 13-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Detroit currently is in 4th place in the Major Conference Central Division at 71-82.

Nick Swanson, the 7th overall pick in the 2021 draft, aided the Detroit cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the first. For the game, the center fielder drew 3 walks.
