Burrows Slugs Knights to 7-1 Win
The New York Knights defeated the Baltimore Colts, 7-1, in part because of designated hitter Tim Burrows. Burrows belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Knights. Baltimore falls to 9-8.

Michael Vaughn had a big 2-run home run for the Knights in the bottom of the third inning. With New York leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a cutter from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Peter Johnson and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Knights on top, 4-1.

"Nice win for us," said Burrows. "Now we'll go after the next one."
