Great Stroke: Maldonado Gets 5 Hits
Jackson Maldonado put on a hitting clinic as the Orlando Rugrats dumped the Louisville Sluggers, 15-11, at Slugger Field.

The Orlando second baseman made Louisville defenders earn their pay, lashing Louisville pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Maldonado said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Jackson Maldonado hit a GRAND SLAM off Victor Medina in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
