Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Hounddogs
Hawaii used a superb performance from starting pitcher Enrique Diaz to down the Los Angeles Shockers, 2-1. The winner was Hawaii reliever Victor Montalvo, now 5-4. The loser was Claudio Dazzi. The 4th-place Hounddogs have won 4 in a row.

Hawaii got a knockout punch from John Branton. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Branton said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
