The Alaska Snow Sox defeated the Detroit Devils, 12-11, at The Igloo. Alaska was led by two-time All-Star Orlando Morales, who belted 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. The win gives Alaska a record of 12-7.

Ashton Lopez was the walk-off hero for Alaska. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Snow Sox right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Alaska manager Greg Poupon.
