Phoenix right fielder Joe Headrick played a vital role in his team's 4-1 conquest of New York. He was 3-4 with 3 singles for Phoenix. With the loss, New York falls to 10-8.

The Autobots got a big at-bat from left fielder Byron Jones. For the game, Jones went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Phoenix a 2-0 lead.

"Enjoyed this one," Headrick told the Phoenix Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
