Autobots Handle Hollywood, Snag 7-6 Win
The Phoenix Autobots spoiled a good performance by Hollywood designated hitter Wes Smith, bumping off Hollywood, 7-6, at Ballpark of Arizona. Smith went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The B's fall to 6-14 and continue their lackluster start to the 2026 season.

Phoenix designated hitter Sergio Ramirez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 27th hit of the season and put the Autobots ahead, 7-6.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ramirez told the Phoenix Times. "It's as simple as that."
