Black Swings Colts to 6-1 Win
The Baltimore Colts knocked off the Boston Beaneaters, 6-1, at Ballpark of Baltimore. Cale Black was a big reason Baltimore won. The first baseman was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Roberto Dominguez, who finished 5th in the SC in ERA with 2.74 in 2024, was the winner. He's now 3-0. The loser was Ignacio Robles. The win puts Baltimore at 14-11.

Early in the game, Black had a 2-run home run for Baltimore. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Colts on top, 2-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Black told the Baltimore Herald.
