Bryce Parkman had a hand in New York defeating Philadelphia by the score of 4-1. Parkman went 3 for 5 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. New York pitcher Ricardo Miranda got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ricardo Diaz got the loss. Elmer Stephens earned the save, his 2nd, for the Cobra.

Had Parkman not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Parkman hit a run-scoring single. The Cobra took the lead, 2-1, and never looked back.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Parkman. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
