Franks Excels in 8-5 Toronto Win
The Toronto Seagulls beat the Hollywood B's, 8-5, at Bee Hive. The win was due in part to right fielder Ronald Franks, who was 2-4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Picking up the win was John Morgan. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 5 and walked 0. The loss drops Hollywood to 7-17.

Franks got the Seagulls off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Franks.
