Garcia Jacks Two Home Runs in 13-1 New York Win
The New York Cobra thumped the Los Angeles Shockers, 13-1, at Cobra Stadium. Gene Garcia was a big reason his team got the win. Garcia belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. New York goes to 16-8.

With New York leading 6-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Garcia batted against Los Angeles pitcher Jerry Foster. Garcia hit a fastball to left for a 3-run home run. His 5th home run of the season put the Cobra on top, 9-1.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Garcia.
