The Orlando Rugrats picked up a win at Carpet Kingdom, topping the Bay Area Bandits, 8-3. On the mound for Orlando was right-hander Brandon Manley. He played a principal role in the triumph. Bay Area now has a record of 12-15.

Stewart Matthews, who finished 4th in the SC in doubles with 41 in 2022, chipped in a 2-run home run for Orlando in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.
