Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Denver Rabbits take on the Alaska Snow Sox.

The Alaska Snow Sox defeated the Denver Rabbits by the score of 1-0, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Stu Stebbins. Stebbins went 2-3 with a home run for the Snow Sox on the day. Denver falls to 13-14.

Early in the game, Stebbins had a solo home run for Alaska. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Snow Sox on top, 1-0.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Brian Woods. "That was the problem."
