The Toronto Seagulls dealt the Los Angeles Shockers a 4-2 loss at Toronto Fields. Alex Duran was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Roberto Ruiz finished the game for Toronto and earned his 5th save. Los Angeles falls to 16-11.

Duran had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Paul Watkins, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Seagulls a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Duran.

"It was a good effort all around," said Duran.
