Ingilab Huseinov was a major contributor to the 9-7 Alaska win over Detroit. The Snow Sox third baseman went 3-4 with a triple and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Alaska pitcher Ken Veeck got the win. He's now 4-0. Henry James was tagged with the loss. The win puts Alaska at 17-13.

In the top of the eighth, the Snow Sox grabbed the lead when Huseinov hit his 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple off Henry James made it 8-5, Alaska.
