Clay Seymour, who finished 2nd in the MC in strikeouts with 301 in 2024, never let the Cobra get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his changeup, to pitch the Rugrats to a win, 2-0. New York falls to 18-11.

Seymour made it look easy. He scattered 1 hit over 6.1 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 2-2.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Seymour.
