The St. Louis Robins topped the Toronto Seagulls, 6-1, in Major Conference action at Toronto Fields. The game was highlighted by the performance of St. Louis pitcher Mike Law. Law yielded 1 run over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 10. His record improves to 4-1. The loss makes Toronto 14-16.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Adam Yates came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Toronto pitcher Wilson Cutright, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting St. Louis on top, 2-1.

"Mike was the difference maker. He was emotionally under control, had good stuff and makeup," said St. Louis manager Elladan Corinvar.
