Penguins Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
|
Florida left fielder Joe Davidson was instrumental in helping the Penguins triumph, 4-3, over the Philadelphia Grays. Davidson was 3 for 6 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Florida pitcher Anthony Carr got the win, upping his record to 1-1. Gerrit Garcia got the loss. After losing, Philadelphia is 14-16.
The Penguins got a clutch hit from catcher Daniel Tucker. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Penguins.
