Toronto Seagulls pitcher Josh Hale was in fine form, leading his team past the St. Louis Robins, 2-0. The win was credited to Miguel Flores in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Vicente Juarez took the loss. Roberto Ruiz nailed down his 7th save.

The Seagulls got a big at-bat from left fielder Patrick McFarland. For the game, McFarland went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Toronto a 2-0 lead.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," McFarland said (again).
