The Detroit Devils topped the Orlando Rugrats, 5-4, in Major Conference action at Devils Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Detroit pitcher Julio Campos. The win belonged to Gerald Ellis in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Art Hughes took the loss for Orlando. Thomas Sutherland nailed down the save.

Pedro Casillas, the 3rd overall pick in the 2023 draft, helped out the Detroit cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a solo home run. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a home run.
