Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Ballpark of Texas.

The New York Knights faced a tough opponent in Texas pitcher Michael Henry, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Texas by a final score of 4-2 in 11 innings. Henry went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. New York reliever Luis Castrillon picked up the win, raising his record to 1-2. George Taylor was tagged with the loss.

Tommy Gilmore, who is tied for 3rd in the SC in stolen bases with 11, had a direct impact on the outcome. Gilmore contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the 11th inning to put New York up, 3-2.

"Nice win for us," said Gilmore. "Now we'll go after the next one."
