Gamblers left fielder Johnny Woods left his imprint on his team's 7-4 win over the Phoenix Autobots. Woods went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Las Vegas in the contest. The loss makes Phoenix 20-14.
Las Vegas third baseman Jose Canusee contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a changeup to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 27th hit of the season and put the Gamblers ahead, 5-2.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Woods.
