Philadelphia right-hander Wayne Thompson pitched his team to victory over the Hollywood B's at Ballpark of Philadelphia. The final score was 3-2. Philadelphia is now 17-18, Hollywood 12-22.

In the bottom of the fifth, Barry Rayburn delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, the Philadelphia center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Grays in front, 3-2.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Philadelphia manager Mark Roberts said.
