The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Knights and Texas Gunfighters get after it.

The Texas Gunfighters downed the New York Knights, 5-4, at Ballpark of Texas. Wade Meyer led the way, going 2-for-3 for Texas. Cristobal Rangel was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 7 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.

Daniel Barbosa was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs for Texas. The 23-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Don Kirkpatrick. It was his 10th RBI of the season.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Barbosa.
