It took 10 innings, but the Toronto Seagulls were able to beat the Portland Decepticons, 6-5, at ConDome. Tim Hollingsworth provided some offensive muscle for Toronto. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Roberto Ruiz picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-4. River Gregory, who led the MC in saves with 45 last year, was tagged with the loss. Toronto is now 19-18, Portland 17-20.

Hollingsworth had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 slider from River Gregory, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Seagulls a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Hollingsworth.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Hollingsworth.
