The Phoenix Autobots got a sterling performance from pitcher Chris Eyres, but the Bay Area Bandits still prevailed, 4-0. Eyres threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. The Bay Area win streak is now 5 games.

Miguel Cruz hit a 2-run home run off Lorenzo Silva in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Bandits ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Cruz had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
