Robins Send Hollywood Home with 7-1 Loss
The St. Louis Robins beat the Hollywood B's, 7-1, at Robins Nest. The win was due in part to designated hitter Wade Shook, who was 1-3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. St. Louis reliever Ernesto Lopez got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Jose Rojas was tagged with the loss. With the win, St. Louis has a record of 21-17. Hollywood falls to 13-26.

With St. Louis leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Shook hit a 2-run single off Hollywood hurler Jose Rojas. It was the 19th hit of the season for Shook and put his team ahead, 4-1.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Shook told the St. Louis Observer.
