Finley Now 4-3 After Beating Mud Hens
|
The Las Vegas Gamblers topped the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-0, in Superior Conference action at Toledo Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Las Vegas pitcher and Mesa, Arizona, native Shawn Finley. By defeating Toledo, the 4th-place Gamblers improved to 17-23.
The Mud Hens had trouble solving Finley, who surrendered no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Las Vegas manager Ray Brooks.
