The Hollywood B's could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jose Rojas into a win. Instead, the Detroit Devils prevailed, 5-2. Rojas threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Detroit is now 18-27, Hollywood 17-27.

Pedro Casillas was 1-5 for Detroit. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Jose Rojas. It was his 31st hit of the season.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Casillas.
