The Cleveland Spiders had their hands full with Toledo Mud Hens starter Cary Lee, who frustrated Cleveland hitters while leading Toledo to a comfortable, 9-0 win. At 5-0, the Mud Hens have played well so far.

Felipe Cortez had a big 3-run home run for the Mud Hens in the bottom of the third inning. With Toledo leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Leonard Foster and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Mud Hens on top, 4-0.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Cortez.
