Rabbits Pick Up 1-0 Win Against Charlotte
The Charlotte Hawks and Denver Rabbits provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Denver Rabbits had to overcome a good performance from Charlotte pitcher Arnie Henry to claim a 1-0 win at Mile Long Stadium. Henry went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. The win was credited to 25-year old right-handed pitcher Manuel Rodriguez in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Arnie Henry took the loss. The save went to Brandon Sanders, number 8 for him.

Chris Walker drove in one run for Denver. The 29-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Arnie Henry. It was his 10th RBI of the season.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Walker. "You've got to get results."

Denver is now 23-24, while Charlotte is 27-19.
