Beaneaters Capture Close Win
The Boston Beaneaters topped the New York Knights, 3-2, in Superior Conference action at Fenway Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston pitcher Larry Moody. The loss makes New York 24-24.

Boston starter Larry Moody was exceptional. The 6-foot-0 right-hander allowed 1 run on no hits over 7.2 innings of work.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Moody.
