The Denver Rabbits weathered a fine game by Hollywood right fielder Cesar Corona to upend the B's, 3-2, at Mile Long Stadium. Corona was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. Brandon Sanders, who led the SC in saves with 46 in 2022, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-3. The losing pitcher was Robert Kirkland. Denver now has a record of 26-25 with the win.

Jose Maldonado was the walk-off hero for Denver. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rabbits center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Hollywood manager Keith Grace.
