Ramon Duran left his imprint on the 7-5 Toledo win against the Cleveland Spiders. Duran, who is a two-time All-Star, was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Cleveland falls to 2-4.
Toledo took the lead, 7-5, on Broderick Jordan's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Cleveland pitcher Howard Hollis in the bottom of the eighth.
"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Duran. "The only team that can beat us is us."
