Cobra Earn Late Win
The New York Cobra overcame a big game from Florida right fielder Ricardo Gonzalez to pick up a win at Penguin Park. The final score was 8-7, New York, in 10 innings. Gonzalez went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. New York reliever Steve Cook Jr. picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Craig Webb took the loss. Florida now has a record of 4-2.

New York needed the clutch hitting of Bradley Webb to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cobra on top, 8-7. For the game, Webb had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
