Mark Lee was a major contributor to the 19-0 Mars win over Texas. The Eyebiters left fielder was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 4 runs and drove in 7. The loss drops the Gunfighters to 4-3.

Donald Allen had a big 2-run double for the Eyebiters in the bottom of the first inning. With Mars leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Mark Stevens, who finished 3rd in the SC in ERA with 2.55 in 2022, and swatted a double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Eyebiters ahead, 4-0.

"They steamrolled us," said losing manager Gregory Godwin.
