Utah pitcher Andrew Clayton did his part in helping his team defeat the Texas Gunfighters, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The Utes, at 34-31, lead by one game in their division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Jason Morgan? The 27-year old first baseman Morgan stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the tenth inning to put Utah up, 5-2. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.
