Boston Takes League Series Friday, October 16th , 2026 Fans of the Baltimore Colts groaned when Manny Ortez stepped up to the plate in the League Series. And for good reason too, as the Boston Beaneaters player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-1 series win over the Colts. The series was clinched tonight at Fenway Park, with Boston coming out on top 5-3 in the deciding game. Ortez's strong series included a .500 batting average, with a .632 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Boston Beaneaters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Hawaii Hounddogs - St. Louis Robins series. Hawaii leads the series 3 games to 0. The Round 4 schedule will be announced after the League Series finishes.
