Dukes Suffer 5-3 Loss to Alaska
|
The Alaska Snow Sox topped the Green Day Dukes by a score of 5-3. Leading the way was left fielder Srapion Malian. Malian went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Snow Sox. Bartolo Hernandez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 3 save opportunities. The win puts Alaska at 44-88.
In the bottom of the sixth, Alaska right fielder Orlando Morales put his team on top. With two out and a runner on 3rd, he hit his 11th home run of the year. Green Day pitcher Nate Brown served it up. Just like that, the Snow Sox were ahead, 4-3.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Malian.
