New York Sweeps into the Division Series Saturday, September 29th, 2018 With a 5-2 win to wrap up the series at Cobra Stadium, the New York Cobra have eliminated the Los Angeles Shockers in the Wildcard Series and move on to the Division Series. New York controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 2-0 sweep. Jeff Bowman led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .429 batting average, along with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The New York Cobra will play against the Florida Penguins in the next round. Florida had a bye in the Wildcard Series.
