Cobra Walk It Off for 69th Win of Season
New York left fielder Roberto Gomez was instrumental in helping the Cobra triumph, 6-5, over the Alaska Snow Sox. Gomez went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. New York pitcher Elmer Stephens earned the win, hiking his record to 4-5. Franklin Bentley suffered the loss. The Snow Sox, at 67-74, have lost 5 in a row.

The Cobra got a clutch hit from second baseman Pepe Feliz. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Cobra.
